SKILLS
After a corporate career in product management and marketing for software, hardware and telecommunications companies, I made the decision in 2000 to became a consultant. One of the most rewarding aspects of consulting has been the opportunity to work for a diverse range of companies, learning about their businesses, customers, markets and technologies. It’s like the street version of getting an MBA!
General background
| Experience | Why does this matter? |
| More than 15 years marketing experience at international software, telecommunications, and hardware companies | Shorter learning curve to understanding your technology, marketplace, and customer needs. |
| Solid technical background combined with an understanding of business issues | Developing effective content requires clear communications with technical subject matter experts, and the ability to bridge between technical and business audiences. |
| Extensive pre-sales experience, working with sales managers, sales persons, customers and business partners | Successfully articulating product benefits to customers and/or the field sales force means first understanding their concerns and goals |
| Track record of success in creating marketing programs for small and emerging technology firms | Accustomed to tight deadlines, agile work environments, and creative thinking |
